Two years out from the Games, a real ticket market for LA 2028 now exists. As of this update, ten sports have live listings on GoalTickets covering 112 sessions in total. This is our monthly snapshot of where that market stands.
Framing note: every number below is a listed asking price on a marketplace — not face value, not what anyone paid, and not sales data.
What's on sale: 10 sports
From-prices below are each sport's cheapest listed session as of the snapshot date. Session counts are listed sessions, not the full competition schedule.
The marquee sessions on the market
Listings skew toward the biggest dates. The highest listed prices right now are attached to finals and closing-weekend sessions — led by basketball's final sessions and gymnastics' medal days.
What stands out this month
- 1Coverage is still selective: 112 listed sessions against 845 on the full LA28 competition schedule — roughly one in eight. Listings concentrate on finals and prime evening sessions.
- 2Value entry points exist: water polo (from $274) and football (from $338) are currently the cheapest listed ways into the Games.
- 3Artistic gymnastics is the scarcest ticket, with the highest starting price of any sport at $1,115 — consistent with every recent Summer Games.
What's next
- Official LA28 phased sales continue — registering at la28.org is the way to be notified for the next drop. Face-value inventory arrives in waves, not continuously.
- Official hospitality packages (via On Location) remain the guaranteed premium route for marquee sessions.
- Expect listed inventory to broaden beyond the current ten sports as official drops put more tickets into circulation. We'll track the changes here monthly.
