Getting there
Metrolink's San Bernardino Line stops at Pomona North station near the Fairplex, with shuttles expected on event days. By car it's about thirty miles east of Downtown LA on the I-10.
Where to stay
There are practical options near the Fairplex and along the 10, but the college town of Claremont — one town over, with its leafy village center — is the most charming base in the area.
